In this collaborative workshop, leaders take four steps to answer the following essential question: What do I see when I visualize a school, my school, that is built upon the pillar of excellence? Leaders also walk away with a plan for communicating and bringing to life the vision of excellence for their school culture.
What to Expect
Knowing and naming the vision is the necessary work cultivating a positive and safe school culture. At the end of this workshop, leaders have taken a four-step journey that has led them to a well-crafted vision of excellence for school culture that is clear, concise, compelling, and charges people forward.

Across the span of two sessions, leaders will collaborate with other leaders to identify what school culture means within their halls and classrooms.

What do I see, hear, and feel in my building when it is safe and positive?
What words best articulate my vision?
What strategic planning needs to happen to actualize my vision?
Programming
The “Vision of Excellence for School Culture” workshop is broken into two parts and is designed to accommodate your unique schedule. Leaders attended both sessions in a group setting virtually via Zoom.
Registration
It is encouraged for school leaders to attend this workshop alone (and invite the leadership team to subsequent sessions).

This workshop is tailored for school leaders who are leading school turnaround initiatives. This is the first workshop of this series and serves as the foundation of all subsequent sessions in this enrichment course. Therefore, school leaders can (should) attend this initial workshop alone and invite their teams to the following sessions.

No. There is no pre-work required for this session. Just show up with enough mental space to do some deep thinking.

Yes. However, since this session is designed for school leaders to do precursory thinking and vision-setting, it is encouraged to attend alone.

No worries. You may reschedule for a different date that suits your schedule better. If you prefer to keep your date, you may also send a proxy in your absence. Simply email us at registration@theenrichededucator.org.
